Math Support for Allprep Students

Math is often a class that people dread to take, as oftentimes the concepts are difficult to read, let alone understand and apply. My goal as one of the math teachers is to provide resources for students, parents and teachers of Allprep Academies to have a place where they can get resources, support, and instruction from certified math teachers. Since a lot of our high school math curriculum is online, and our students are spread out over Oregon and Southern Washington, many of the resources are online so as to be easily available to all students.

To access the online resources, students will need to create a Moodle account!

1. Click on the picture above to go to the website. Once you are there, bookmark the page so you can remember and access it easily.

2. Scroll down until you see the classes,
Allprep Academy Math Forum or Algebra 1. These are two different websites that I have created for students. If you are taking Algebra 1, then you will choose Algebra 1. If you are taking any other math class, then you will choose Allprep Academy Math Forum.

3. When you choose a class, you will be directed to a login page where you can enter your username and password, or at the right, create a new account. Follow the instructions to create an account. You will need a valid email address to activate your account.

4. Once you’ve activated your account through email, you can go into the website and enroll in the class you want (Allprep Academy Math Forum or Algebra 1). If you choose Algebra 1, you will need to enter the enrollment key which is . You are now all ready to begin! I’ve explained the various resources available for each of the classes below to help you get started. I look forward to meeting and working with you through the year!

Allprep Academy Math Forum

Math Question and Answer Forum
~ This is a discussion forum where students can post math questions or problems that they need help understanding. There will be math teachers who daily check the forum and post solutions for students. As students post questions, they are saved and available for other students to search, review and comment on. There are currently over 80 questions and answers posted that cover topics in pre-Algebra, Algebra, Geometry and Algebra 2.

Live Math Support ~ There is a link to my online Wimba classroom where students can visit me during office hours to receive live math support on their classes. I will post office hours on the website, and they are subject to change throughout the year.
